Criminal Investigations Division Captain David Shoemaker

Captain Paul Singleton graduated from Cleveland State Community College’s Basic Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2008 and began his career with the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office in 2009. Throughout his tenure, he has served in several roles including Field Training Officer, Honor Guard member, and SWAT Team member. Captain Singleton has advanced through the ranks from Corporal to Sergeant, Lieutenant, and now Patrol Division Captain. He has completed extensive specialized training and has received numerous commendations recognizing his dedication and professionalism, including Patrol Division Supervisor of the Year (2022), Patrol Division Employee of the Year (2018), the Life Saving Award, the Good Conduct Medal, and the Sheriff’s Office Commendation.
