Dewayne Scoggins

Director Dewayne Scoggins is a 38-year veteran of Law Enforcement.  Prior to serving as Director of Communications and Technology where he was appointed in 2018, he spent 20 years as a Criminal Investigator primarily with the Person Crimes Division of the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.  He has held various leadership positions within the criminal investigations division and also worked for the Cleveland Police Department as a criminal investigator.  Director Scoggins also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  He is responsible for the Information Technology Unit, TIBRS, Grants, Internal Affairs, Office of Public Information, and is the agency Polygraph Examiner.
