Bradley County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies, responding this morning to a prowler call on Benwood Drive, took two suspects into custody after they were detained by a homeowner because of their suspicious activities. .

Upon the deputies’ arrival a woman’s purse that was taken out of a vehicle in the subdivision and various items from seven other vehicles throughout the county were recovered in the suspect’s vehicle.

Patrick Michael Stewart, 18, of Lebanon Road, and a 15 year-old juvenile were charged with eight counts of burglary to a vehicle. Locations of the thefts were identified and the stolen property has been returned to owners.
