UPDATE:
Two-year-old Dakota Mason, son of Richard Lloyd Mason and Ashley Nicole Green, died this morning at T.C.Thompson Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga. Investigation into the incident is continuing by the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. Tuesday:
At 12:09 p.m. Bradley County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call on Sandridge Road to a report of a possible drowning in a landscape pond. Before they arrived on the scene dispatchers were advised the two-year-old boy was being taken by family members to a church on Springplace Road to meet EMS personnel. The child was taken to Skyridge Medical Center and later transferred to T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga for further treatment. The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene to conduct an investigation into the matter. At this time no further updates on the child’s condition are available.
