County receives $50K from inmate phone calls |

 County Mayor Gary Davis (left) receives a check for use of the inmate phone system from Sheriff Tim Gobble Sheriff Tim Gobble presents a check from Securus Technologies to County Mayor Gary Davis. The $56,000 represents a portion of revenue Securus received from inmates that made collect calls to phones outside the Bradley County jail. The payment consists of a signing bonus for renewing Securus's contract and a commission that comes back to the county based on each month's use. Securus provides equipment for the inmate phone system and billing for calls.
