In mid-February a patrol deputy tried to stop a vehicle on Highway 64 for a traffic violation. After a short pursuit the vehicle stopped on a dead end road but then sped away when the deputy got out of his patrol car.  During efforts to elude arrest the lives of three deputies were placed in danger.

One of the deputies recognized Hembree as the person behind the wheel. Warrants were taken out for one count of reckless driving, three counts of felony evading, three counts of felony reckless endangerment and one count of drivers’ license violations.

Hembree is 34 years old, approximately six feet tall and weighs around 150 pounds.  He is described as having brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone knowing where Hembree can be found should contact the BCSO’s Crime Tip Hotline, 423-728-7336.
