     Class 1 - The Special Deputy Church Protection Program graduated its first 10 participants upon  completion of the required 80 hours of training at the Bradley County Sheriff's Office.  Classes started in January and covered all aspects of law enforcement.  Those pictured above are first to complete the program that is believed to be the only of its kind in the United States. Members of class one are, ( l-r front row)  Christopher Swain, Tom Cawood and Wain Kristy.  Back row, Kevin Owensby, Daniel Jay Chord, Daniel Howard Chord, Manuel Smith, Douglas Graham, Douglas Biller and Robert Wright.  Applications for class 2 that is scheduled to begin in January are available from the Sheriff's Office and their website, www.bradleysheriff.com, under the Volunteer Programs tab.
