Criminal Investigation detectives are asking for help in an investigation of injuries sustained by 19-year-old Timothy Wayne Farmer.

A resident of the 75-hundred block of Eureka Road found Farmer bleeding and injured near his home shortly after 7 o’clock this morning. A 9-1-1 call prompted a response by patrol deputies for the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office and the emergency medical service.

Farmer was unresponsive upon their arrival and he was transported by Lifeforce to Erlanger Medical Center where he continues to receive treatment.

Person crimes detectives assigned to the investigation are asking for anyone who had contact with Farmer by phone or in person on Tuesday to contact them at 423-728-7336 as they attempt to recreate where he went and who he talked to leading up to Wednesday morning. At this time how Farmer received his injuries is unclear and that aspect of the investigation remains open.

Once again the number to reach the Criminal Investigations Division is 423-728-7336.
