Four charged in I-75 drug bust |

Drug Enforcement Unit detectives conducting interdiction on I-75 Wednesday afternoon observed a 2002 Mercedes with Georgia registration following dangerously close to a tractor trailer truck as they proceeded north on I-75.
 Depal Arun Patel The detectives performed a traffic stop near the 27 mile marker and on initial contact with the driver they detected the odor of marijuana coming from the passenger compartment of the car.  Chrysae Renae Robinson Consent to search was given and detectives found a number of baggies containing marijuana and one baggie with a white powder that field tested as ecstasy.  Michael Lee Gray The four vehicle occupants were transported to the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office where they were charged with possession of schedule I drugs for resale, possession of marijuana for resale, and felony possession of drug paraphernalia.  Leigh Ashley Baldwin They are Depal Arun Patel, 26, Chrysae Renae Robinson, 23, both of Lithia Springs Georgia, Michael Lee Gray, 25, and Ashley Leigh Baldwin, 21, both of Winston Georgia. Patel is additionally charged with following too close.
