Patrol deputies for the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office apprehended the driver of a stolen Dodge van after he drove toward a deputy’s patrol car while going west in the eastbound lanes of Highway 64.
Around 2:30 Monday morning the sheriff’s office responded to the area of Highway 64 and Old Powerline Road to be on the lookout for two vans that possibly had involvement in a theft. Deputies saw the vans at a convenience store and upon spotting the officers the vehicles left the business in opposite directions.
