The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office has noticed an identifiable increase in residential burglaries over the last few weeks. We believe this increase in residential burglaries is primarily due to the holiday season, economic hard times and to fund ongoing drug habits. The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office is stepping up patrols in both marked and unmarked vehicles and we are asking for your help to identify any suspicious activity occurring on your street or in your neighborhood. We also encourage all residents to take basic precautions such as locking vehicles and doors and making it more difficult for criminals to gain access. Anyone having any information regarding these burglaries or any crimes may contact Sheriff Tim Gobble at 423-728-7300 or Criminal Investigations Division Capt. Steve Lawson at 423-728-7306.
