As part of the investigation of a burglary on Hunt Road, Bradley County Sheriff’s patrol deputies and detectives, while attempting to locate and recover stolen property, found a small quantity of methamphetamine at one of the locations they searched.  Terry Lewis Hayes In addition to the four arrests by the Criminal Investigations Division on burglary charges, three additional arrests were made on Friday related to possession of drug paraphernalia and schedule two drugs.  Lacey S. Duggan Those charged are Terry Lewis Hayes, 30, of Village Green Drive; Lacey S. Duggan, 23, of Charleston; and Thomas Michael Scroggins, 25, of Perry Street. Sheriff Tim Gobble said this shows the link that is often found between the theft of personal property and drug use.  Thomas Michael Scroggins The BCSO arrested Chastity Ann Lawson, 26, of Longview Drive; Christopher Lee Pope, 18, of Rymer Road; Donny Ray Bonine, 31, of Cliff Drive; and Stephen Ray Simons, 23, of Cliff Drive and charged them with Aggravated Burglary, Theft over $10,000, and four counts of Burglary of an Automobile. The homeowner reported a shotgun, DVD player, and two jewelry boxes were taken, for a loss of $10,900. For more on this investigation, see the story below.
