The inmate garden has provided fresh cucumbers and other vegetables for meals served in the Bradley County jail. Starting small to see how plants survive in the Judicial Center's soil, Sheriff Tim Gobble says it may be expanded next year. Gobble said an additional benefit to having home-grown vegetables for meals was those who worked in the garden enjoyed it. Ricky Ellis and Anthony Harvey have helped in the garden In the photo at right, inmates Ricky Ellis and Anthony Harvey show off beans and cucumbers that were just picked in the garden.
