The woman blocked the path of the car off her property and kept two of the three suspects until deputies arrived on the scene to begin an investigation.

The suspects provided deputies with documents showing they had purchased the 1984 Mazda from a salvage business in Ooltewah, however, she had no knowledge of the transaction and had not authorized the vehicle’s sale.

Further investigation by Deputies Phillip Reagan and Travis Smith revealed the woman’s residence had been entered while she was away. A utensil set and a First State Quarters map that were in the house were found in the suspect’s vehicle.
