A Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency boater safety class will be held at the Bradley County Judicial Complex on Thursday, July 3, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Successful completion of the course is required for anyone that wishes to operate a watercraft in Tennessee and was born after January 1, 1989. There is no charge for the class, however, participants must purchase a TWRA testing permit to bring to the class. The permit can be purchased at most retail businesses that sell fishing licenses. The class will be held in the north training room of the Judicial Center, 2290 Blythe Avenue, on the westward-facing side of the building. The course instructor will be Deputy Sheriff Jamie Thurman.
