Today's Bradley County Jail Population:
Aug. 18, 2010 

The jail has a capacity of 408 inmates.  

The county receives payment of $35 per inmate day from the Tennessee Department of Correction for state inmates that are being held in the local jail.  Reimbursement is also received from the Federal government based on $49.60 for each Federal inmate that is being held, up to a maximum of 100.

The Flag of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office

Throughout history, people have created banners and flags to distinguish and honor their cause. The flag of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office prominently displays a six-pointed badge in the center of the design. This badge is the emblem of our office. It symbolizes respect, professionalism and public trust, and reflects the character of the men and women who are entrusted to wear it. We shall always endeavor to honor the deputies who have sacrificed so much before us and to maintain these high standards for the ones who will follow. The flag of the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office serves as a constant reminder to all citizens of our mission statement, our guiding values, the public trust and our Oath of Office.
