Today's search for Kathleen Wrinkle in Parksville Lake has ended. Six vehicles were located, all within a 150' area which is about 200 yards above the Ocoee number one dam and powerhouse, and sitting in about four feet of silt. Sgt. Bill Coultry said the vehicles appear to be on the old roadbed which is under about 35 feet of water. Of the six vehicles only one was positively identified as a Volkswagen Beetle. Sgt. Coultry said the next step will be to assemble several local divers to go into the water to identify the other vehicles. We will notify the media when that occurs. The search effort today was conducted by the Bradley County Sheriff's Office, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency and the West Polk County Fire and Rescue Unit. Kathleen Wrinkle owned a 1951 Chevrolet BelAire, black and yellow, when she disappeared.
