The Bradley County Sheriff’s Office investigated an aggravated robbery on Sunday at 2080 Benton Pike that left the 74-year-old victim in the hospital.
The investigation by Det. David Shoemaker revealed the suspect, Nancy Louise Thompson, went to Bryan Moore’s apartment around 2:00 a.m. on Sunday demanding money.
Moore said she pushed him to the floor and then held him down by placing both of her knees against his chest. He gave her his wallet and a bottle of hydrocodone pills. The investigation revealed Thompson took $60 from his wallet and an undetermined number of pills and left. Moore told Det. Shoemaker his pain was such that he was unable to get help for over seven hours. At that time he managed to walk to a neighboring apartment and call 9-1-1. Thompson, 46, was arrested on Craigmiles Street and charged with aggravated robbery. |
