Mayo charged in burglary on Mill Creek Trail Print
Thursday, 30 June 2011

Investigation by the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office resulted in the arrest Tuesday of Cameron Andrew Mayo for the June 21st burglary of a home on Mill Creek Trail.

The homeowner reported jewelry, approximately $200 in change, and two prescription medication bottles were taken after entry was made through a window.

The following day property crimes detectives discovered two of the missing pieces of jewelry had been sold to a scrap metals dealer.

Further investigation revealed Mayo had assisted the homeowner with making some minor repairs and had been to the residence during the previous month.

Mayo was arrested on Tuesday for aggravated burglary and theft over $500. He remains in the Bradley County jail under $25,000 bond and is due back in General Sessions Court on July 5th.
