The school resource officer at Bradley Central High School has charged a member of the cleaning crew with stealing from student lockers.

On Monday, three students reported tennis shoes, water bottles and clothing missing from their lockers. The SRO viewed school security video for the area where the lockers are located and saw a supervisor on the cleaning crew opening lockers and moving articles to a clear garbage bag.

The SRO filed an affidavit in General Sessions Court seeking to charge 38 year-old Paul Mark Weber with theft under $500. A warrant was subsequently issued for Weber and he was arrested at the school Tuesday afternoon.

Attempts are now being made to recover the stolen property that has a value of $244.

Weber was employed by a private janitorial service and was not an employee of Bradley County or the Bradley County School System.
